The ubiquity and advancements in computing techniques, together with the vast amount of data being collected and processed, have driven statistics and data science (which enable AI) into the spotlight, enabling new waves of innovation in almost every industry and discipline but also creating both bottlenecks in demand and obstacles for access. To broaden this pipeline, we need flexible, low-barrier pathways for students to data science and STEM through better-resourced educators. The NSF-funded SCORE with Data project leverages rapidly growing interest in sports and sports analytics to inspire and engage students while providing pedagogical resources and training to educators. This unique network of academic, professional sports, and media collaborators develops and disseminates peer-reviewed educational modules covering a wide range of statistical/data science topics and sports along with a data set repository. In this talk, we describe the SCORE with Data project and its rapidly growing network of over 10,000 users with a focus on best practices, lessons learned, and available resources. https://scorenetwork.org
