Details

Since about 2002 a team at MIT has been developing a suite of special-purpose applets to support student understanding of mathematical concepts and operations. They have been used extensively as lecture demonstrations and in homework assignments. We will show some examples of these uses, discuss their design and reception, introduce the website mathlets.org, and end with a description of how they have been integrated into online courses.
