Reflections on a Year at the Museum of Mathematics

At the end of August 2021, I began a one year visiting term at the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) in New York City. The visiting position, known as the “Distinguished Visiting Professor for the Public Dissemination of Mathematics,” was made possible by a gift from the Simons Foundation. In this talk I'll tell some stories about what the experience was like for me, what I tried to do, and what seemed to work and what did not.
